Saturday, November 8, 2008 Alumni Open House sponsored by ARAMARK 9:00-11:30 a.m. Taylor-Slaughter Alumni Center at 901 East Fifth Street Complimentary Open to all ECU alumni and friends, the Alumni Open House is a great way to start your morning with a complimentary breakfast from ARAMARK. Homecoming Parade 10:00 a.m. Fifth Street Take advantage of the Alumni Center's front-row seats for the annual Homecoming parade. This year's floats are sure to please as "ECU Goes for the Gold!" Alumni Tailgate 1:00-3:00 p.m. Gate 1 outside Minges Coliseum $5 for Alumni Association members; $10 for non-members. Children 10 and under are free. Leave your grill at home and join the Alumni Association for our family-friendly Alumni Tailgate. We'll have plenty of food and Pirate beverages, games for children, live entertainment, door prizes, and a chance to see Pee Dee the Pirate and the ECU Cheerleaders. Jazz Social with Carroll Dashiell  9:00-11:00 p.m. City Hotel and Bistro Ballroom Listen to the smooth sounds of award-winning jazz musician Carroll Dashiell and members of the ECU Jazz Ensemble "A" during the first half of "3D: Dessert, Dashiell, and a DJ." Assistant Professor of Music at East Carolina, Dashiell is recognized internationally for his excellence in music, having produced and/or performed on more than 35 national and international recordings. He has performed with the Boston Pops and Ray Charles among others. After Hours Dance Party 11:00 p.m.–2:00 a.m. City Hotel and Bistro Ballroom DJ "Brotha Soul" Terrence Dove '97 will entertain with today's hits and yesterday's favorites during our After Hours Dance Party during the second half of "3D: Dessert, Dashiell, and a DJ." Childcare for "3D: Dessert, Dashiell, and a DJ" Childcare will be available for children ages 0-12 years at the City Hotel and Bistro through Play Date of Greenville. This service is only available if you sign-up in advance and is not available at the door. •Children ages 0-12 months are $30 each; 13 months-12 years are $20 each A childcare form  must be filled out for each child.Shuttle For the safety of all reunion participants, a complimentary shuttle will run from 8:30 p.m.-2:00 a.m. from the Wingate Inn and Baymont Inn to the City Hotel & Bistro. Sunday, November 9, 2008 Worship at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church 9:00 a.m. 1095 Allen Road, Greenville Take a moment out of the busy weekend to attend a worship service at one of Greenville's local ministries. Brunch at K&W Cafeteria 11:00 a.m. 1916 West Arlington Boulevard, Greenville Meet with fellow black alumni for a dutch brunch at K&W Cafeteria before saying goodbye until next year's reunion.
