Vanderbilt University Homecoming Weekend 2009 kicks off on October 15, 2009 with hundreds of Vanderbilt Black alumni gathering in Nashville, TN to revel in the schools annual homecoming festivities and to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the AVBA (Association of Vanderbilt Black Alumni). These events will culminate in what is expected to be the largest gathering of Black alumni in the history of the university. Vandynow (a networking club of Vanderbilt Black alumni and students) will be celebrating this momentous occasion with a special night of networking and entertainment to compliment the homecoming/reunion activities during this exciting weekend.

WHEN: Saturday October 17th, 9pm 

WHERE:The Nashville City Club, located at 201 Fourth Ave N. on the 20th floor of the old Sun Trust Bank Building located in downtown Nashville with panoramic views of the city skyline  

WHAT:This upscale event will feature entertainment and networking opportunities and offer a festive opportunity for Alums to reconnect and celebrate as we cap off the homecoming and AVBA anniversary activities. This exciting event will bring together people from diverse academic backgrounds and generations in an intimate environment for an evening of alumni connecting, sharing, networking, elegant entertainment and fun.
